"The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are." - Carl Jung
PROFESSIONAL PHILOSOPHYAs human beings, we are all shaped by a mix of biology and experiences that influence our psychological and physiological health. We impact our health by increasing personal awareness and empowering meaningful choices to minimize negative symptoms and improve joy, freedom, authenticity, and purpose. Without awareness and options to confront life's challenges, we can default to maladaptive patterns, producing negative and compounding symptoms. In therapy, I help to expose, adapt, and organize beliefs and behaviors to establish new patterns that can transform how you identify, feel, and function. To approach therapy this way, I use empirically proven theoretical frameworks, integrating neuroscience, psychology, philosophy, spirituality, and natural experiences to help clients gain insight and collaborate toward realistic plans and measurable results.

COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY
As a counselor, I desire to build on my years of community service to become a consultant for local stakeholders, creating awareness and access for mental health services in underserved communities. The annual net profit from ALTA Mental Health will be donated to The Atrium Foundation, providing mental health access to those who cannot afford necessary help. I also work with community non-profits, schools, and churches who need professional services to mitigate the negative symptoms of mental health issues in their immediate populations. I offer pro bono services to all first responders and pastoral care leaders, and currently am offering free services and trauma support to anyone who has served in the Hurricane Helene North Carolina disaster relief efforts. Please reach out to me if you believe my services may be able to support your community or group needs. I am dedicated to multicultural research to offer pro-bono mental health first aid classes or psychoeducation that is customized around each groups ecological and cultural factors.
